As we organize multimedia for the ensuing adventure, here are a few helpful notes.

If you haven’t read it yet — and even if you have — you may enjoy listening through the audio of the first post in Megan M.’s Narrative Editorial series.

Here’s the introduction at Intuitive and the Upmarket post text that goes with the first portion of the above podcast audio:

Upmarket Magazine
Welcome to this Narrative Editorial
You might remember me. My name is Megan Elizabeth Morris. In 2011 and 2012, I worked with Seth Godin and his team at Squidoo to launch Upmarket Magazine as part of the Squidoo Magazines project. I began …

As we are organizing (and reorganizing) ourselves, our thoughts, our experiences, and our multimedia to continue building this new incarnation of Upmarket Magazine, our groups at the Intuitive Network have been assembling some helpful notes about how we plan to flow forward.

Our content for this platform is being created in the Intuitive Network, then syndicated to Upmarket Magazine. Much of our upcoming content has been published privately in Intuitive groups; some of it has been or will be published at Intuitive Public Radio and then later, shared here at Upmarket.

After much deliberation, we decided we did want an audio stream — because although it was not a feature launched with Upmarket Magazine originally, audio experiencing has become a crucial communications modality for Megan Elizabeth and for all of us. We often don’t feel we’re communicating very effectively without it. So we’ve added podcast functions to this Substack. (Click here for instructions to help you set it up in your favorite podcast app.)

Upmarket Magazine is an essential part of the Intuitive Network; and yet, Upmarket communicates quite differently than most of our other Intuitive groups do. This has a lot to do with the violence we’ve experienced and the neurological repair that occurs when we re-connect old memory structures. There are a lot of old memory structures being re-connected for those of us who were involved with Upmarket near its first launch or in subsequent years since.

We know it’s unusual for survivors of such invisible intersections to be co-leading a business and marketing platform. That’s part of why we love this project.

And although we’re going to focus particularly on publishing content that the Intuitive Network has been building for Upmarket over most of this past decade, we’re very interested in the content you’d like to contribute, too. You can find our first draft of the Contributors’ guidelines here, and we welcome you to join us in the comments of each article and podcast release to share your story, commentary, questions, ideas, hopes, and dreams wherever it resonates for you to do so.

We know this is going to be a pretty wild ride — with some unexpected twists, turns, caverns, wormholes, forest paths, and cosmic by-ways.

The natural world is the truest source of deluxe experiencing and nutritive livelihood. It’s the natural world that has brought us such a complex and beautiful set of stories to unfold for you here.

So we’re going to tell it with the same vim she brought it with — and be very glad for all who join us.
